Fire Protection Districts (FPDs) and August 28th

Just a friendly reminder, the HBA?s elimination of duplicative residential code authority law will be effective on August 28th. At that time, members are no longer required to permit with FPDs if a county or municipality also with authority over that property adopts and enforces a residential construction code.
